About Us

Barrington Area Soccer Association was established in 1992 to instill a soccer culture in Barrington, Illinois. To give all players, all ages, and all abilities a place to enjoy this beautiful game.  

BASA Recreational is for players Kindergarten-HS. This is the non-competitive portion of our program and we offer Fall, Indoor, Spring and Summer programs. BASA has one of the largest and well established recreational programs in the state of Illinois. We have been awarded the "Region II 5 Star program award" for our commitment to excellence in all areas of our program. 

BASA Tots is our Pre-K program and is a great introduction to soccer in a fun, developmentally appropriate environment. All Tots classes are coached by our staff and we focus on movement, skills, and most importantly having fun! 

FCX Travel Soccer is the competitive arm of the Barrington Area Soccer Association. FCX provides comprehensive, professional training for players who are committed to improving their level of play while enjoying themselves.  It is our goal at FCX to develop the best players and teams possible and provide the most driven players in soccer the opportunity to excel to the highest levels of which they are capable.
